Re: OGS Sacked
Sure ManU would be better off going after Nick rather than Ralf, the bloke who needed to phone him up...

Re: OGS Sacked
There is a story on the BBC sports website that ManU are in talks with Ralf Rangnick and want to bring him in ASAP for the rest of this season.

Whatever this bloke does he will not make that team competitive with City/Pool/Chelsea instead they will be competing with the likes of us for fourth spot and a CL place realistically.

Re: OGS Sacked
Seems like an odd choice... must be worried about a repeat of the Solskjaer situation where he did well enough as interim to force himself into the permanent job despite not being up for the role.

Arguing over whether Conte wanted Utd or not?

Sad cunt.

"So Conte ends up at spurs when he really wanted Man U"

Unless you know more than Gary Neville as I've already posted Conte was never in the picture for Man U.

It's an interesting one for sure. No doubt this fella is a clever bloke and is a top coach, but managing also involves dealing with players ego's, pressure from fans and all the other shit, and with 26 games left I'd be surprised if they are writing the season off, as surely they need to be in the CL?

Interesting move that. Hopefully an absolute car crash.

Re: OGS Sacked
Rangnick's had just 2 one year spells as a manager in the last 10 years. Never managed outside Germany. Only European trophy he's won is the Intertoto. On the surface it's a shit appointment.

I guess the aim is for him to take over as DoF and find the next Tuchel or Klopp to be the manager.

Hopefully he'll find the next Juande Ramos instead.

Ralf Rangnick new interim manager

Re: OGS Sacked
So there is 3 ways this will go, either get Poch in now, get an interim manager in, or give the gig to Carrick for the season. All a bit shambolic. 4th spot definitely available this season, although Man Utd will be the favourites for it with the talent at their disposal.

Re: OGS Sacked
Wasn’t this how Solskaer got the job in the first place - temporary - goes on a winning streak and gets offered the job.

Come to think of it wasn’t that also how Roeder also got the job….

Carrick just doesn’t seem to be a strong enough personality to hold the job for long.

They won?! Carrick will be at the helm for the next 3 years at least.

"R Savage"?

Are you a scouse? Cabbidge isn't on here tonight, he's drinking cooking brandy and horse linament on bench listening to tekno while Gopnik does wheelies on his chopper.

Re: OGS Sacked
I watched about 5 mins til R Savage said Man U seemed to have found the secret to being more organised under Carrick

If he knew the SECRET* why didnt he tell Ole when he was there?

* The SECRET is to play Villarreal not Liverpool or Man City. Or Watford

Ole was at the wheel but this will end up with a Michael CARWRECK

Re: OGS Sacked
So the bloke who got blamed for them playing shit and the flop get the goals for ManU as they go through to the last 16 of the CL, And a bit of a wankfest going on about Carrick!

Could we see a rinse and repeat with Micky at the wheel?

Re: OGS Sacked
Just think if Gerrard had waited a couple of weeks, he could have got the Man U job, now that would have been interesting listening to “spit the dog” Carragher when Man U played Skypool.

Man U never suffered troubles like this when we were in the EU so it's all the fault of Brexit.

According to Neville Man U were never in for Conte and never will be as he wouldn't fit them anyway. I.e. a winner.

Their loss but Spurs gain.

If Italy don't qualify in March will Mancini be available? I'd say he's the best fit. After that Poch I guess.
